By housing organizations from across a number of industries and disciplines on one campus, the Houston Spaceport will foster and accelerate key aerospace engineering activities, including:

THE HOUSTON AEROSPACE SUPPORT CENTER (HASC) IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS

The first dedicated infrastructure for the Houston Spaceport, the HASC offers 53,000 square feet of laboratory and office space. (You can take 360 virtual walkthru here). The co-working space includes an incubation space for early-stage companies, more permanent offices for developing companies and even larger facilities for companies that need room to mass produce their products.

Developing an innovation center as part of Phase 1 is a key element in achieving Houston Spaceport's ultimate goal of supporting the future of commerical spaceflight.  The HASC has a state-of-the-art shop floor, which includes:

• 36,000 square foot high bay
• Hook crane height: 23'5"
• Roll up door height: 25'1"
• Two five-ton hook bridge cranes totaling ten-ton capacity
• Single hook cran - three tons

FLEXIBLE HIGH BAY LAYOUT ACCOMMODATES CUSTOMER NEEDS

The fully-customizable High Bay offers access to all laboratories as well as fabication/machine shops and clean rooms to ensure seamless workflow for the lifecycle of any project.

17,000 SQUARE FEET OF OFFICE SPACE*

The HASC contains 17,000 fully configurable square feet of office space with adjoining laboratories and workspaces to facilitate projects. The HASC is easily accessible via Space Center Blvd. and is immediately adjacent to NASA's Neutral Buoyancy Lab.

*An additional 60,000 square feet of office space is available within walking distance.
